I'm happy that so many "Simulation" games are coming out again, that feels very early 90's.
There was SimEarth, SimLife, SimAnt, SimSafari, SimCity, Streets of Sim City, Sim Isle, SimTower (My favorite), SimFarm, SimHealth, SimPark, SimGolf, Sid Meier's SimGolf (PLAY THIS!)...

Oh, and a LOT of fragmented blogs. Like there's a blog I remember which covered Maxis and their weird fucking run of like, SimHealth and the oil refinery simulator, but it's obscure and it's only really got that!

Very cool auction win tonight on eBay.
I swear, almost nobody knows SimHealth exists and a copy comes up so rarely on eBay, much less a preview copy that was owned by a former US senator.

My mod works, I have the SimHealth in my phone and can order medication from the mod, I was just confused about how to use it and that one sim is frequently ill 😅

In a round-about way Sim City did actually inform city planning.
In the mid 90s SimHealth was created, possibly the driest and hardest simulator ever made that modeled the U.S. health care system. That same serious simulation side eventually inspired a land-use tool for ArcGIS.

has anyone been able to get the GTW health overhaul mod to work? i've seen a few people say they removed it because they couldn't figure it out (as did i) so i'm just wondering if it's a common problem now. 🤨 for me, i didn't get the "SimHealth" option on my sims phones
