Postoji na raspeću u Lazarici i crkvi u Boraču iz 14 veka, pre 1389.
A kao oznaka pripadnosti bila na reveru u Kraljevini Jugoslaviji, kao oznaka specijalnih jedinica.
Naravno SSova je najpoznatija.
