Now STAR is being embraced in Colorado and Washington, with Missouri and Iowa close to joining the fold. Other states in the process of signing on are Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Indiana.

This round of Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities provides $2.8 billion for 70 projects. The awards range from $5 million to $95 million, will reach over 50,000 farms, and engage over 25 million acres in climate-smart practices. That’s a big deal, folks. #climatesmart
