The criminally underrated Banks Course at Forsgate Country Club has some of the best greens in New Jersey.
Charles Banks often took the template concepts handed down to him by his mentors, C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor, and turned the boldness up a notch or two, and Forsgate features some of his best results.
The thumbprint Short and the Biarritz, with a swale wide enough to be pinned, are terrific examples.
