Seesaw allows me to post pictures, videos, and student lessons online for parents to see and even comment on! Our district uses ParentSquare to send out announcements and it allows parents to “text” the teachers. #SwDMathChat

I feel like from my perspective, Zoom really welcomed me into my students homes and I really got to know the parents on such a deeper level. Since COVID, I still try to have those meaningful partnerships with parents! I’m constantly in communication with them! #SwDMathChat

A6: We have IEP coordinators that work with families to advocate for students who struggle to advocate for themselves. They also take a lot of the paperwork/bureaucracy off of the teacher’s caseloads. #SwDMathChat

A1: We generally have very good relationships with families at our school, because it has taken a lot of work and advocacy to get their children to our school. So our families are pretty committed to our school community. #SwDMathChat

Love the grouping and grouping of groups happening on the carpet. It looks like groups of 5 are organized to make groups of 10, and then 10 of those groups to make 100, and then more groups below. So much number sense visible there!
