Our team at Sentebale Lesotho recently attended a Social, Environmental and Climate Assessment Procedures (SECAP) training hosted by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). SECAP provides guidance on how to identify potential risks and impacts for the environment and encompasses nine social, environmental and climate standards that guide IFAD-supported projects including those with a focus on biodiversity, conservation and climate change. As a proud implementation partner of the Regeneration of Landscapes and Livelihoods (ROLL) project in Lesotho since 2024, this training perfectly aligns with Sentebale's commitment to combat environmental degradation and boost rural economies. We’re proud to invest time in knowledge that protects local communities and drives sustainable impact.
