This new 1 πππ πππ¦πͺππ ππ§ππ¨π¨πͺπ§π πππ£ππ§ππ©π€π§ is currently in use on IN5 - contributing to the study of proteins adapted to high hydrostatic pressure conditions in deep-sea hydrothermal vents

A bright idea!π‘
A custom-made cell developed @isisneutronmuon enables samples to be illuminated whilst in the #neutron beam! The new #SampleEnvironment could be used to study a variety of light-sensitive materials, including #proteins.

A new sample cell that can be used for illumination in situ has been developed at ISIS, and successfully used on Tosca: isis.stfc.ac.uk/Pages/SH21_Iβ¦
