NYCACC โ MELLO โ UNDER KILL COMMAND ๐
Mello arrived so terrified he peed himself when staff tried to remove him from his kennel. He was completely frozen and shut down. His owner passed away, and he came into ACC late May.
He is slowly warming up to familiar staff. He is house and crate trained, friendly with strangers and kids, and has become bouncy and playful with other dogs in playgroup.
This sweet boy just needs time, patience, and a quiet home to continue blossoming.
He has very little time left.

๐จ Last call for Mello, now under kill command. Arrived so scared he peed himself when staff tried to remove him from his kennel, frozen in place & completely shut down. At ACC b/c he owner died, came in late May. This sweet 2-year-old boy is slowly warming up and showing his gentle side! ๐๐พ Heโs house-crate-trained, friendly with strangers & kids, and has been bouncy & playful with dogs in playgroup โจ With patience and encouragement, he walks alongside staff and has made progress.
Mello came into ACC in late May after his owner passed away. He arrived extremely fearful โ freezing, trembling, and even peeing when moved in or out of his kennel. But watch his video โ heโs a completely different dog in the play yard! ๐ He walks around, interacts, and plays with another dog. โค๏ธ
This poor boy needs some tender loving care and a calm, experienced foster who can help him decompress and build trust. He needs out of the shelter fast or they will kill him. Mello just needs a good person to give him that chance. ๐
