Yes, the #SaveSide crowd funder raised a lot (£67K) and they found National Lottery funding. I think this is their first exhibition since closing in 2023.

This isn't the end for the gallery though. Just over a month after having to close the local community in the North East raised over £67,000 in support.
It's obvious that the exhibitions and screenings here really do have a lasting impact.

In spring of 2023, @SideGallery was forced to close to the public after the cost of living crisis meant they had to cut funding.
It's awful to see the gallery empty now, especially when their work is focused on our local area.
