Scriptural Thought for Today: "You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it." (Matt. 6:27) The Biblical word for worry (merimnao) is a compound of two Koine Greek words: "merizo," meaning "to divide," and "nous," which means "the mind." When we worry, it splits our energy between today's priorities and tomorrow's problems. Therefore, part of your mind is on "the now," and the rest is on "the not yet." The result is half-minded living. Worrying in itself is not a disease, but it causes diseases. It has been connected to high blood pressure, heart trouble, blindness, migraine headaches, thyroid malfunctions, and a host of stomach disorders. Anxiety is an expensive habit. Of course, it might be worth the cost if it worked. Yet, it doesn't! Our frets are futile. Worrying has never brightened a day, solved a problem, or cured a disease. So, why invest the effort in a practice which fails to produce? Instead, put your trust in the only One who can guide you through life's ups and downs. Next time you start to worry, lean on Christ Jesus for guidance. #ScripturalThought #NoWorries #TrustInJesus #Matthew6

Scriptural Thought for Today: "He protects me like a strong, walled city, and He loves me. He is my Defender and my Savior. My shield and my protection. (Psalm 144:2)" Imagine a bruised reed swaying at the water’s edge—once tall and proud, now bent low by the weight of life’s storms. Have you ever felt like this 34-35 reed? Crushed by harsh words...? A friend’s betrayal...? A Spouse’s anger...? Or maybe the relentless pressure of the world? Society often discards the broken, ready to snuff out the flickering flame. Yet the Artist of Scripture sees you differently. With infinite tenderness, He gathers the bruised reed and the smoldering wick. He doesn’t break you—He restores you. God has a special place for the weary, a gentle hand for the wounded heart. Today, rest in the truth: the One who fortifies cities and shields warriors is the same God who cradles the fragile and heals the hurting. You are safe in His love. #ScripturalThought #Psalm144 #GodHeals #BruisedReed #HopeInHi.

Scriptural Thought for Today “I am God and not a man… I am the Holy One, and I am among you.” (Hosea 11:9) He is not watching us from a billion light-years away in some distant galaxy. He has not retreated into the pages of ancient history or secluded Himself behind pearly gates in an incandescent castle. No. The Holy One has drawn near. He is in the thick of it with you today. He rides shotgun in the chaotic morning carpool. He sits beside the hospital bed during the 2 a.m. heartbreak. stands silently in the funeral home, closer than the air you breathe. He is as present on mundane Monday as He is on Sunday morning. As near in the classroom and the cubicle as He is in the sanctuary. As real at the coffee break as He is at the communion table. You don’t have to climb a heavenly ladder or speak in an ancient tongue to find Him. The God who spoke the universe into being has chosen to dwell in the middle of your ordinary, messy, beautiful life. He is here. He is holy. And He is with you—right now. #ScripturalThought #GodWithUs #EmmanuelEveryDay

Scriptural Thought for Today: “Where can I go from Your Spirit?” (Psalm 139:7) Storms don’t limit God—He speaks them calm. Gravity doesn’t bind Him—He hung the earth on nothing. Distance doesn’t weaken Him—He’s as near in Cambodia as Connecticut, as present on Mars as in your bedroom. There is nowhere His love can’t reach you. No darkness He can’t flood with light. No silence He can’t break with peace. You’re never alone. Just whisper—He’s already there.🙏✝️ #ScripturalThought #GodIsEverywhere #YouAreNeverAlone

📖 Scriptural Thought for Today: “This is the victory that conquers the world - our faith.” (1 John 5:4) If your heart has no confident faith in the future God has promised, you will have no real power in the present. When the coming resurrection, the new heavens and new earth, and Christ’s final triumph feel uncertain or far away, today feels heavy, fragile, and powerless. But the moment you truly believe Jesus has already won— death is defeated, every promise is “Yes” in Him, eternal joy is guaranteed—and something shifts. Strength rises. Peace floods in. Suddenly there’s a lightness in your step and a joy on your face which circumstances can’t steal. Faith in the future Christ secured is the power source for today. Believe the victory—and start living like it’s already yours. #ScripturalThought #1John5v4 #VictoryInChrist #FaithConquers #JoyThatOvercomes

#ScripturalThought The time predicted in the Bible has come on us; it is now that people reject sound doctrine, and instead seek out false teachers and fake experts to tell them whatever they want to hear to assuage their feelings of guilt over their sins.

#ScripturalThought The Bible does not use the term "Great Tribulation" lightly. It will be more horrific than anything you can imagine because it will be worse than anything the world has seen to date. And the foundation for it is being layed by the globalists right now.

#ScripturalThought The Bible says that we are "aliens & strangers in this world." Our customs, goals, ways of living and our concerns are different. We may be scorned, rejected or persecuted, but it will not last. We are citizens of God's Kingdom. And some day we will be home!

#ScripturalThought One of the hardest things for some people to accept is that there is absolutely nothing we can do to EARN our salvation. It is a gift from God that we are to humbly and gratefully accept through faith in Christ.

#ScripturalThought By His death and resurrection, Christ provided the way for us to be reconciled to God. And when we have peace with God, we have peace in our hearts which enables peace with each other. When we repent and receive Christ the war inside us is over.
