Just finished up an open house shift at Almost Home. Good conversations with visitors and fellow volunteers. And lots of time giving pets and scritchscratch, cuddling, and getting kisses, grooming, and pawpets from the cats

I didn’t know that I actually liked cats before meeting her lol. I love that she is super gentle with me, knowing that I’m sensitive to the slicey clawpaw scritchscratch. She’ll let me hold her paw beans, boop her nose 10x in a row (sorry 😩🤣), and she plops on me when she can.

I took my kids and my dad to Almost Home Cat Rescue today. They got a slew of cats and kittens from a Texas shelter. Everyone got lots of pets, play, cuddles, and scritchscratch
