I LOVE #Litecoin and that means I own our #Scrypt mining family coins like- #Dogecoin Bellscoin, Pepecoin, Luckycoin, Dingo, Junkcoin, Meowcoin, Potcoin, Pesetacoin, DigitalCoin, Litecoin Classic (not Litecoin), Orgcoin, CatCoin, or UnitedScryptCoin. Together- mining strong.

Hashing algorithms quietly power much of modern computing. Every time you: • Log in • Search data • Store cache • Verify files • Use blockchain • Query databases Hashing is probably involved. What is hashing? A hash function converts input data of any size into a fixed-size output called a hash. Example: "hello" ↓ 2cf24dba5... Even a tiny input change produces a completely different hash. Key properties: • Deterministic • Fast computation • Fixed output length • Avalanche effect • Collision resistant Common hashing algorithms: MD5 → Fast → Broken for security → Still used for checksums SHA-1 → Legacy algorithm → Collision attacks exist → Not recommended SHA-256 → Industry standard → Blockchain → Digital signatures → Data integrity SHA-3 → Newer design → Different cryptographic construction → Strong security guarantees BLAKE3 → Extremely fast → Parallelizable → Modern performance-focused hashing Where hashing is used: Passwords ↓ bcrypt ↓ Argon2 ↓ scrypt Databases ↓ Hash Indexes ↓ Hash Joins ↓ Partitioning Distributed Systems ↓ Consistent Hashing ↓ Load Balancing ↓ Caching Blockchain ↓ Merkle Trees ↓ Block Verification ↓ Proof of Work A simple rule: Fast hashes → Data lookup → Checksums → Caching Cryptographic hashes → Security → Authentication → Integrity verification The most interesting thing about hashing? Two completely different files producing the same hash is called a collision. Modern cryptography spends enormous effort making collisions practically impossible. A good hash function turns chaos into fingerprints. And those fingerprints power the internet.

Love the $bells fam and everything we do to support each other. I’ll never forget the last spaces when you guys spoke to David about the importance of Scrypt. Loved you guys ever since.

All Scrypt coins mined get the benefit of shared protected networks. Thats not a mess- that’s long term security for coins that may not have had a chance to build a reputation in the chaos, tail emissions for #Litecoin, and miners benefit meaning everyone wins.

You’re just describing a mess these pools have created. ViaBTC/F2Pool don’t have the best reputation for good reasons. The only thing worth mining as a “Business” is Litecoin and Dogecoin. If your thinking like a degenerate sure go ahead and mine all 20 coins on Scrypt.

ViaBTC allow 7 merge mined coins, F2Pool has 10, miningDutch has 11, Zergpool just swaps to the top profitable for you, and Prohashing lets you choose what you want to customize in the Scrypt merge mining coins- with currently around 26 merged choices and over 160 Scrypt coins.

You’re right that individual coin prices are somewhat negative. Not for Scrypt mining on Litecoin though. There has been a good inflow of miners moving to Scrypt mining because they can mine over 20 coins together and get compiled revenue and improve network security for all.

It’s important to note that almost all the coins that are profitable are the merged mined Scrypt coins supported and protected by #Litecoin and #Dogecoin- the two powerhouses for the Scrypt ecosystem. The story behind their merging is one of generosity in a space of greed.
