It’s refreshing to see a government that respects the right to peaceful protest. Kudos to Gov. Makinde for the dialogue, and kudos to the protesters for maintaining peace. When leaders and citizens talk, the state wins. Let’s keep praying for the safe return of our children. #SecureOyo #BAM2027 #SeyiMakinde #VDM #Ratels #PeacefulProtest #SMM2027 #SeyiMakinde4President

In Oyo State, we believe that the right to peaceful assembly is a cornerstone of a healthy, listening democracy. Our collective hearts are unified in the pursuit of justice and the safe return of our students and teachers. Governor Seyi Makinde has always maintained that the voice of the people is the pulse of the state, and he stands firmly with every peaceful effort aimed at prioritizing the lives and security of our citizens. While we welcome every advocate who comes with genuine intent, it is important to note that the government has been working relentlessly behind the scenes, deploying tactical air surveillance and ground intelligence to bring our people home safely. True leadership is demonstrated through action, and we are grateful for a Governor who facilitates safe space for advocacy while simultaneously executing the hard, strategic work required to secure our borders and protect our future. Let our voices remain focused, our cause remain just, and our unity remain unshakable until they are all back home. #SecureOyo #OyoState #SeyiMakinde #UnityInAction #BAM2027

In Oyo State, we believe that the voice of the people is a vital part of a healthy democracy. Governor Seyi Makinde has always maintained that peaceful protest is a fundamental right, and he stands firmly with our citizens in the pursuit of justice and safety for all. The collective resolve to secure the release of our students and teachers is a burden we all share. While citizens express their concerns peacefully, our security agencies under the Governor’s direct coordination remain focused, tactical, and relentless in the ongoing rescue mission. We are one family, united in our demand for their safe return. #OyoState #SecureOyo #PeacefulProtest

@seyimakinde No LG Autonomy under you. No security for Oriire indigenes under you. But FG & Lagos are your problem for not adopting Amotekun? Own your failure. You’re a disgrace. #SecureOyo
With the increasing federal allocations to states, Governor Seyi Makinde should prioritize a comprehensive security strategy in Oyo State—investing in modern surveillance systems, intelligence gathering, community policing, rapid response units, and better welfare for security.

My heart bleeds for Oyo State. As a son of this great land, I am deeply concerned about the growing hardship, insecurity, and uncertainty confronting our people. Today, many families live in fear, farmers are unable to freely access their farmlands, businesses are struggling, and parents are worried about the future of their children. This is not the time for endless political calculations or premature 2027 campaigns. The welfare, security, and prosperity of the people must remain the primary focus of leadership. I call on all political leaders, irrespective of party affiliation, to place the interests of the people above politics. Let us listen to the heartbeat of our communities, embrace transparency and accountability, and provide practical solutions to the challenges facing Oyo State. Together, we can build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Oyo State for this generation and those yet unborn. May God grant us peace, progress, and renewed prosperity. — Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi Okanlomo Oodua | Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland #JubrilDotunSanusi #OyoState #PeopleFirst #GoodGovernance #SecureOyo #LeadershipWithVision #OkanlomoOodua #ProgressForAll #Accountability #HopeForOyoState

Who remembers how truckloads of northerners were intercepted at Akure during the first wave Covid-19 lockdown upon the FG giving total lockdown orders. They were all moving to southwest in numbers. #SecureOndo #SecureOyo

How Gov. Makinde's team handling the media is something to be studied 🤔. The insecurity in that state (Oyo) is in a serious state. To the extent that there's a massive intrastate relocation with fear. AND IT ISN'T TRENDING!!! #SecureOYO 😪
