Orban is doing what many here don’t dare: officially designating Antifa as a terrorist organization and cracking down on organized extremists. Good. Those who systematically use violence, vandalism, and intimidation to enforce politics have no place in a democracy.
The Netherlands and Europe must wake up: we must not confuse tolerance with weakness. When a movement repeatedly attacks bridges, buildings, and citizens, that is not activism but criminal, organized resistance that undermines our rule of law.
Three lessons:
1.Enforce strictly: organized violence must be fought with every legal tool available.
2.No double standards: those who deny riots or excuse violence must be held accountable.
3.Protect the citizens: police and justice must have the means to restore order and guarantee safety.
If Europe wants to protect itself, these are the choices: clarity, determination, and no quackery. Our cities must not become battlefields for ideological vandals.
