#TWINCITIES
In Islamabad Capital Territory, traffic flow remains smooth on the Islamabad Expressway and Srinagar Highway. However, partial access restrictions continue within the Red Zone, with entry currently permitted only through Margalla Road and Serena Corridor. Ongoing construction work at the Margalla Enclave Underpass on Park Road continues to cause traffic diversions and slow-moving conditions on adjoining routes. Additionally, enhanced security and traffic management arrangements linked to an event at the Sports Complex will remain in effect daily from 0300 HRS to 1200 HRS until 23 June 2026. As a result, intermittent restrictions may be observed on Srinagar Highway between Serena Chowk and Chand Tara Chowk. Commuters are advised to utilise alternate routes via China Chowk, Press Club Road, Aga Khan Road, Margalla Road, Shahrah-e-Dastoor, 7th Avenue, and Jinnah Avenue. In Rawalpindi District, traffic movement remains normal on The Mall, airport-bound routes, and other major road networks. No traffic disruptions, protest activity, or scheduled demonstrations have been reported at the time of reporting. Furthermore, in Murree District, Section 144 remains imposed until 05 July 2026, prohibiting access to streams, waterfalls, and other water bodies, while bathing and swimming at dams and recreational water sites also remain banned as a precautionary safety measure. All major roads and intersections across the district remain operational.
#LAHORE
In Lahore, traffic flow remains generally normal across major road networks, while no protest activity has been reported across the city. However, localised congestion and traffic diversions persist due to ongoing infrastructure development and utility works. Affected locations include Kamahan–Ashiyana Road, Dharampura–Sadar Gol Chakkar Road, the stretch from Sadar Gol Chakkar towards PAF Colony Side Road, and the Data Darbar vicinity. Additionally, sewerage work from Lakshmi Chowk to Brenth Road, along with construction activity near Nila Gumbad and the King Edward Medical University area, continues to slow traffic movement on adjoining roads. Despite these ongoing works, all major roads across Lahore remain open and operational.
#KARACHI
In Karachi, traffic conditions remain generally stable across major road corridors. However, congestion is expected during peak commuting hours on Shahrah-e-Faisal, University Road, and adjoining routes due to ongoing construction work at Azeempura Interchange and along Jahangir Road. Furthermore, traffic diversions and slow-moving conditions continue to affect Korangi routes, Singer Chowrangi, the Airport Corridor, Defence, Quaidabad, Jail Chowrangi, and adjoining localities. Motorists are advised to utilise alternate routes, including Shahrah-e-Bhutto Interchange, Shaheed-e-Millat Expressway, Kashmir Road, Nishtar Road, and Malir Mander Road, to minimise delays. Additionally, scheduled protest activity in Hyderabad on 14 June 2026 and in Sukkur on 17 June 2026 may result in localised traffic disruptions and increased congestion, particularly around designated gathering points and adjoining routes.
#PESHAWAR
In Peshawar, traffic movement remains normal on major roads, including Khyber Road, University Road, and Warsak Road. No protest activity has been reported across the city at the time of reporting. Security measures remain in place around sensitive installations and key locations as authorities continue to monitor the prevailing regional security environment.
#QUETTA
In Quetta, traffic flow on major routes remains normal. However, night-time traffic restrictions continue to remain in effect on the N-65 Bolan Section Highway between 1800 HRS and 0500 HRS to ensure commuter safety. Furthermore, Section 144 remains enforced across Balochistan Province until 17 June 2026 due to prevailing security concerns and the ongoing security situation across sensitive districts.
