Even the most pro PC builders have made this mistake at least once.. however some of the motherboard manufacturer's have that plate just built into the motherboard to make it easier..

probably can jimmy that aluminum in from the inside if you loosen the mobo screws and push outward on the case. otherwise you can bend in the oncoated edges there with a flathead and bend them back once it's in place. annoying, but far from the worst mistake to make.

Well there are three options and all are terrible. 1. Just put it on there with tape. 2. Put it back in the box and forget about it. 3. Start from scratch.

Why would the coins be there? 99% of these point at a pool. Or used as a hash cracking rig. We had a few of these. Fairly hard to keep stable over 8 GPUs but they were fun. Had a lot of radeon 290x rigs and then 570/580 doing eth back in the day too
