This week was Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Week. I spoke in the House of Commons about my motivation to run for Parliament in 2010 after the Harper government shut down funding for clinics across Africa and to all international development programs that offered safe abortion. In January I went back to Africa where I toured a @CanadaDev funded safe abortion clinic in Kinshasa that is literally saving lives.
