That led me to the OG blogosphere (2008-today), @CodeFirstGirls where I built up #ShefCodeFirst and later, #LeedsCFG (2015-2020), @hackmeduk where I organised #HackMed18 (2018) and @LadiesinDevOps (2021) β¨

Creating this Discord server is reminding me of my #ShefCodeFirst days. In 2016-2018, I was growing the local @CodeFirstGirls community in Sheffield β we had a Facebook Group where I regularly shared jobs and opportunities. Students ended up getting speaking gigs and internships.
Over the last three weeks, our @CodeFirstGirls Python course has been busy remotely working on their projects. 23 students successfully finished the course this week, with some fantastic work for a beginners course!
Big congratulations to all our students! π
