For those curious, I have supported @ProBox_TV from day one and that continues in present time. Though I do not work for the platform, the way I see it, any platform that makes #Boxing more accessible to more eyes without an expensive paywall, I will always be ready to support. Unfortunately, we still have PPV as part of the ecosystem of the sport and even though #DAZN has largely reverted back to their original subscription approach (Thankfully), they also have the resources available to them that other streaming networks may not be able to enjoy. It isn't a bad thing, but a network needs to find ways to grow. ProBox going back to a subscription format is not necessarily a bad approach and $5 monthly is certainly more reasonable than a PPV approach where the starting point is $74 in most cases. ProBox has also filled a void in the sport that was left by Showtime's exit as this has essentially become a platform similar to what Showtime's ShoBox series was and in the current landscape there's plenty of room for the network as a platform to grow. My question is whether the network is going back to a standalone app or if this will be a subscription through their YouTube channel. Either way, Iook forward to covering more ProBox events over the summer. #ProBoxTV

It's a reallocation, just like Garry said — better fighters, bigger fights, a better product, for a small and still very affordable fee.

That’s sucks. They were keeping the spirit of ShoBox alive on a smaller scale for free. Boxing is a tough business. Especially tough for the little guy.

It sucks because I actually like a lot of what ProBox does and those mid-level shows are really needed in the American scene, filling that gap from the ESPN FNF / ShoBox void. It's just not viable.

More importantly Shock has improved as a fighter so much over the years.. I remember him being with PBC & fighting on ShoBox losing two early fights.. He didn’t tuck his tail, Lou DiBella rebuilt him and then Top Rank put him in tough fight after tough fight sharpening his iron💯
What is Shakur is so angry about. He needs opponents. I like Shock, he's got a good spirit to him. Very likeable guy.. #boxing

there is a certain part of boxing twitter that finds out about a fighter super late and then mythologizes them. They did the same with Brian Norman. Been watching Shock since 2014 in his Shobox days. He is not that good

Shock had a great win on Shobox against JonFer Fernandez - could see then that his ceiling was very high. Bobby Benton deserves high praise for his work with him. Shobox excellent track record of 50/50ish fights.

It's just personal bias. O'Shaquie Foster started 10-2 with a couple close losses on ShoBox. Look at where he is now. Nobody was criticizing the ShoBox platform. The cream rises to the top. It's a much bigger disservice to waste years inflating a "prospect's" record.
