A 19th-century mountain road cuts through this part of a State Forest in Norvin Green/Long Pond Ironworks State Park - and the section of road that cuts through the State Park limits has been left to nature and 4WD Jeeps only, so it is rutted, rocky, and a mess - but simply beautiful solitude (unless an ATV or motorbiker appears) and perfect to ride skillfully. All protected "Green Acres" with a high-tension power line cutting through. Standing under those wires, taking the photo, made me vibrate at 120 Hz with that power line hum, baby...
