@RegisterISLI offers an example of how we have done this in Ireland for #SignLanguageInterpreters as a result of the #IrishSignLanguageAct - but we have EU Directives in place that call for registration of interpreters in legal contexts & should work to implement this.

Attended the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI) Conference 2023 and World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) 19th World Congress 2023 in Jeju, South Korea 🇰🇷!
I've learnt so much from the countless presentations by speakers from all over the world on various topics, especially the insightful presentation on Interpreters Guilt in ASEAN countries, DeafBlind people in Korea, and sign language interpreting as a social institution by @mdemeulder 🤩
