UPDATE (PUPDATE!) Those who have been following know that Jackson has had shoulder issues and as a puppy had to be on crate rest for months!! We ended finding out what it was.. it was actually TWO issues. First, he got his wrist caught in his xpen.. it’s a large metal enclosure that is put him in when I had to leave the room for his own safety. Unfortunately the side folded in when he jumped up & pinned his wrist. We have contacted the manufacturer but they did not care. He is no longer kept in there. Second, the shoulder issue was probably due to fast growth, we will never know… As of last month, the limp was barely there. I decided to try to add a new pain relief/natural supplement and in this past month he has NO LIMP AT ALL!!! Vet is convinced he’s all good!!! I’ll post of video of his gait/running and show you ! 🌈 💔💔💔One year ago today, my heart was broken. Jake meant a lot to so many, across social media as well as here at home. So many hard core Labrador purists would say nasty things about him and his breed; and I just pushed back harder and showed them what a SPECIAL & AMAZING breed they are!! Jake was there for me when my daughter passed from cancer 4 years ago. He became like a son to me. In fact, he was my son. 8 years was just not enough. Life is cruel.
