After the 1971 war & 1972 Simla Agmt, Sheikh knew the Indian state was too strong and he was too old to fight. The 1975 Indira-Sheikh Accords left many radicalised followers (born out of his Plebiscite Front separatism) feeling betrayed, which fuelled the armed militancy in JnK.

I agree that there is no clause fr independence an no state was allowed independence. But the final decision must be made by the people. As for Simla agreement it doesnt mean no one can mediate. And if u talk about honouring agreements IWT is there. UN resolution wasnt a agreemnt

People don't use a weapon even on monkeys etc. Killing a human being is outrageous. Definitely an outsider job, or property.
Either way, imagine the psychological damage to tender children's brains.
