Here is my snowmap verification. Totals were too low in NJ/NY into SNE, and too high in spots, but otherwise I feel like this map isn't too bad. What are our thoughts?

My snowmap is verifying way to low in my 8"-12", 12"-18", 18" , as several areas approached or went over 2". We'll see how it looks later tonight.

Here's my snow map for our big nor'easter tonight into Monday. Heaviest totals will be along the coast where a deformation band sets up, resulting in blizzard conditions. Sharp cutoff as you go inland, though an inverted trough could enhance totals somewhere in PA. Here we go...

Here is my snowmap for Central PA. I thinking of a ripoff zone as the coastal storm takes shape with subsidence. Higher totals towards Philadelphia and into New Jersey.

I think we will see models go east starting at 6z not completely miss but gradually ticking east throughout tomorrow. Not comfortable putting out a snowmap when I know it’s gonna change. We will continue to monitor any trends.

Wouldn't hubris be to not change my forecast and ignore all the data?
Yes, I thought it would be less of a storm, and I gave reasons why. I even explained why I thought it could miss and what would need to happen for it to hit.
I also changed the forecast when I realized it wasn't going to work out.
BTW, is it hubris when 99% of the time, some people post a 7-day snowmap and then act like they never posted it, basically hubris when they do it again and again. I never see those guys admit that their seven day "not a forecast but let me post it 15 times" snow maps never materialize admit they are wrong.
