Sun–Venus–Mars Geometry & Solar Corona
What we see
The Sun is occulted (center disk blocked) to reveal the outer corona
Venus appears extremely close to the solar disk (inferior conjunction geometry)
Mars is visible farther out in the field of view
Multiple coronal streamers extend asymmetrically, especially on the right limb
Key observations
The corona is highly structured, not uniform
Bright radial streamers indicate open magnetic field lines
No large CME fully detached at this frame, but:
Several bright streamer bulges suggest instability
Likely slow solar wind enhancement along streamer belts
Planetary context
Venus is behind or near the Sun from Earth’s perspective
Any Earth-directed CME would be hard to visually isolate at this geometry
Mars is well outside immediate solar wind shadowing
