Day 1564-1570: 🇺🇦🇷🇺 Situation on Soledar & Chasov Yar fronts: During the last week, Russian Army has succeeded in completely eliminating the Ukrainian presence in Minkivka and Holubivka, securing a series of positions to the west and east of the canal, while fighting continues in Malynivka and Tykhonivka. Russian forces have also begun crossing the canal further south of Tykhonivka. Furthermore, Russian forces have effectively taken control of Markove after pushing Ukrainian troops eastward. Meanwhile, the opposite is happening in Maiske, where Ukrainian army has managed to drive the Russians out of the village and is fighting to consolidate its position there. Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 1564-1570: 🇺🇦🇷🇺 Situation on Siversk & Soledar front: The situation on some sections of the front has become clearer. Isolated Ukrainian troops remain north of Kalenyky and Riznykivka, in a “Layer zone” adjacent to the trench systems contested by Russian forces. It is worth noting that this presence allows Ukraine to launch attacks on the rear of Russian army in Kryva Luka, which has been severely weakened following the loss of ground on the north bank of the Donets River. Further south, isolated Ukrainian groups remain in the forests of Sorochyi, Babachyi, and Zakhidnyi. Although the localities of Nykyforivka and Lypivka are already under Russian control, Ukrainian army continues to infiltrate the outskirts to gain access to these forested salient areas. Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to attack Rai-Oleksandrivka, approaching the center of the locality, and have taken control of the northern forest of Fedorivka Druha, securing that village.
