That stunning shot from the UAE skies is a beautiful capture of the Venus-Jupiter conjunction that's been lighting up the western evening sky this month! 📷 What's happening right now (mid-June 2026):Venus and Jupiter are the two brightest "stars" in the evening sky after sunset. They had a super-close conjunction around June 9 (just a few days ago), appearing almost side-by-side like they were kissing. Your photo looks like it's from around that time or shortly after — the bright pair dominating the twilight. Mercury has joined the party too! Around June 12–15 it's been forming a nice little "mini planet parade" with Venus and Jupiter low in the west. Mercury reaches greatest eastern elongation on June 15 — best chance to spot the elusive planet low in the evening sky. We're heading toward the June solstice on the 21st (start of summer in the north) and a Strawberry Moon (micromoon) on the 29th.
