...Guest Characters as CPU Racers in Grand Prix; with Whisper strangely on Type-J instead of Wispon Booster.
So maybe this may factor in why the next SRCW update is taking time.

⚡ Various tidbits of information regarding #SonicRacingCrossWorlds and Sonic Pico Park have been unveiled thanks to an intreview by @JeremymKlinger with Takashi Iizuka.
Iizuka aludes to the possibility of Year 3 for the game if the support for Year 2 is big enough.
He also goes on to confirm that Godzilla will indeed NOT be a playable character in the game, as he is simply too large.
As for Sonic Pico Park, he specified that the game will will feature 4 additional Sonic characters besides Sonic, Tails, Knuckles & Amy! 🍃
