I hate to say it but if $ETH is heading for a liquidation event (unstaking) and the potential end of centralized staking AND stables are not safe that makes a very bad short term outlook for defi. Long term bullish for sure. But momentum is hard down for now.

To an extent, yes, but you might still imagine a bit of diversity in opinion (which is a good thing btw) derived from their diverse experiences. The problem seems to be with this lot that they are mostly pretty privileged and therefore don’t really have diverse experiences.
