From vibe coding to whisper coding
A few weeks ago, on a flight to Las Vegas for a tech event, I caught myself trying to dictate notes to Claude with the engine humming and the person next to me asleep.

I dropped my voice to a whisper. The AI gave me confident nonsense. I gave up and opened the laptop to type.
This is the pattern outside my desk. Airports. Planes. Cafes full of people who do not need to hear me brief Claude on a client problem. I lower my voice. The AI stops understanding me. I switch back to typing. The speed I had at my desk is gone.
Since that flight, I have been testing the Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max. I am not usually a "post about earbuds" person. I am posting because this one closed the gap.
The whisper part actually works. I can dictate to an AI tool on a plane without my seat neighbor learning my client's name. The noise cancellation is on par with the best on the market.
Call clarity is no joke. The Liberty 5 Pro Series holds a Guinness World Record for call clarity in noisy environments. The first time someone on a call asks "wait, where are you?" because they cannot tell you are in a train station, you understand why.
The AI Note-Taker is the feature I underestimated. Double-press the case to record any conversation. Summary and action items land in the app after the meeting.
The Pro Max case also has a small screen. You control music, recording, and ANC modes without pulling out the phone.
Vibe coding was the first step. Whisper coding is the next.
