Just to say in advance, this post is a little long. I felt like writing this because セリア… one of my favorite VRChat world creators, has decided to take down all of their fetish worlds. セリア, you are the person who inspired me to start creating worlds in VRChat. About a year and a half ago, I had just started using VRChat. I had no friends there. I was just alone, aimlessly searching for worlds and enjoying myself by myself. Since VRChat relies on keywords to search for worlds, I curiously typed in the keywords I usually use on Pixiv, and that was how I found セリア’s world - Shounen Doll Room. At first, I thought it was just an ordinary avatar display world, until I got bored and played with the vacuum cleaner… I got sucked in, and became part of the display. That was the first time I realized that in a VRChat world, it was possible to experience a “fetish” that could never truly happen in the real world in such a direct way. After that, I found ヒトがモノになる空間 from the creator’s world list. It became one of my favorite worlds in VRChat… though another one of my favorites has already been taken down by the official team. I loved the feeling of being restrained inside a display rack, being covered in coating, or becoming a statue and being put on display. It was such a comfortable environment… and then I fell asleep. I know some people have real-life fetish experiences involving being tightly wrapped up and unable to move, where the extreme quietness and restriction instead bring a sense of calm and let them sink into sleep — that was exactly the feeling. So I continued going through his list of works, visiting each of his worlds one by one. It was also because of SpaceRoom and ABYSSAL that I discovered the appeal of quicksand worlds. I also really like worlds with a sense of story. ヒトがモノになる空間 is one of them, and so is 記憶の底なし沼. While walking through it, I knew the swamp in front of me was dangerous, but the “me” in the story was drawn toward it… and then I jumped in as well. チルワールド＆日常の侵食… To be honest, although I had already visited it when the world was first released, it was only two or three months ago that I found out there was an extra switch that could fill the house with slime. Lying inside it and listening to slime-type ASMR is one of the ways I relax my mind. Because these fetish worlds existed, they made me start thinking, “I want to make worlds like this too!” Although the worlds I have made so far are not exactly ASFR-themed… maybe PODS counts? But I will keep making them. Even if, in the future, they can only remain private worlds even when they are SFW, I will still make them. Lastly, thank you, セリア, for bringing us so many high-quality worlds. I hope that, in the future, we will be able to experience your fetish-themed worlds again on another platform outside of VRChat. #セリアの底なし世界
