Today, the Spring Fire Department remembered District Chief Mike West, who passed away 38 years ago today battling a multiple-alarm fire. Mike's widow, Hildy, their daughters, and grandchildren will always be part of the #springfirefamily.

#COVID19 led to terrible losses, and some unexpected blessings. 62 organizations and individuals donated meals, masks, and PPE to our team in 2020. Whether they were making us masks or feeding our crews, we are blessed to have them in the #SpringFireFamily!

Five years ago today, our brother & captain, Darrell Wayne Falls, lost his cancer battle. He served Spring for nearly three decades & this servant leader's loss is still felt daily.
How do we know "it will be ok"? Because Captain Falls said so.

A member of the #SpringFireFamily came upon a grandmother whose grandson got locked in her car with the remote! Since it was little Lexon’s birthday, the Spring Firefighters and Precinct 4 Deputies who answered the dispatch call gave him some extra attention.
