WindowsでHDD(22TB)x4をまとめるのに記憶域スペース パリティにしたら死ぬほど遅い、Writeはともかくエクスプローラーでフォルダ見るだけで数秒~数十秒止まるという遅さで実用性ゼロで泣いた。しょうがないので StableBit DrivePool SnapRAID で作ったら中々いい感じになったのでとりあえずヨシ。

Hello cave people, with just a week left before the deathline, (6 days), and not having reach the 50% donation goal, I've had to use my last card up my sleeve. You see, there's a program called StableBit DrivePool. This program allows me to combine several separate drives into one. Those who have used it know how convenient it is, since you don't need to format the drives to use it. So, between borrowing my cousin's drive, some others from my dad, and acquiring a 2TB one, I've managed to gather exactly 13.1TB. But this is only temporary, since they agreed to lend me the drives until I buy the one I need. I've finally started downloading the movies from Jotta Cloud, but as I said, this is only temporary. They could ask for the drives back at any moment for something important, so I still need to reach at least 50% of the donation goal. Anyway, thank you so much for your help, guys. I feel both aren’t great and it’s completely overdue for a better network share. Ideally something for the internet age, like stablebit cloud drive. SMB has better compatibility though than NFS and better access controls, unless you feel like mucking around with Kerberos.
