From email @courtdefenders Defend Our Courts Following their landmark ruling to strike down the Voting Rights Act and reestablish Jim Crow era voter discrimination, the US Supreme Court is now set to weigh in on the constitutionality of vaccines and requirements to get them. Presently, legal cases against vaccines in the State of New York, as well as cases against them in California and West Virginia, are moving quickly through the court system and represent the movement’s best hope for a landmark legal win. Some of the Christian nationalists pushing this do not plan to stop until vaccines are banned entirely. God help us before they kill us all. And sadly, a national vaccine ban is just the tip of the iceberg. In the coming months and years, court watchers forecast that the extreme far-right Robert’s court, the most conservative Supreme Court in US history, will issue rulings in support of the following: A national abortion ban Repeal of gay marriage and LGBTQ rights Suspension of habeas corpus allowing for indefinite imprisonment of political rivals Jim Crow era separate but equal policies Ending public education and more They are a rabid dog that must be stopped before they can take our nation past the point of no return, a living hell, and right now we are beyond close. We might have two, maybe three, years before we reach that point and Democrats have only one way to reverse this: Packing the court with liberal justices. It will require us to control both the House, Senate, and the Presidency but all of this is possible if we win in 2028. And if we accomplish this we need to be ready on day one to put this plan into action. Opposition will be relentless. Republicans will fight this tooth and nail every step of the way. And if God forbid, any Democrat breaks ranks and sides with Republicans, we need to be ready to come after them with the power of a thousand suns until they step back into line.
