I’m a researcher at a scrappy start up with limited budget, and every day I encounter papers behind a pay wall that literally slows down the pace at which I can consume information in my field.

I just found a WONDERFUL paper on preconception care in the US, and guess what? It is behind the paywall, and I'm supposed to pay 40 euro to familiarize with that OR just to be enrolled in the institution.
General public needs an access to science!
