𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 & 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 On June 9, 2026, IMPD Violent Crime Unit (VCU) detectives located and arrested 27-year-old Devontae Webb‑Holloway after spotting him leaving a home in the 4500 block of Crittenden Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident. This arrest follows an extensive investigation that began in November 2025. On November 24, 2025, just before midnight, IMPD Southeast District officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Turtle Creek N Drive on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they located a victim, later identified as 26-year-old Amanda Jones, inside a residence. IEMS arrived and Jones was unfortunately pronounced deceased on scene. IMPD homicide detectives spoke to several community members and identified Webb-Holloway as a suspect in this case. Through various investigative techniques, detectives learned Webb‑Holloway had fled to Chicago to avoid apprehension. VCU detectives continued to search for him, and crucial new witness statements led to this successful arrest. @93wibc
