I'd like to think so, but 0.063-0.080" Al alloy skins on fuselage (aside from the radome/s) ain't got anything over your Subi's bonnet (more than 2t & steel). STRUCTENG knows so. Bummer on the hail strikes ☹️

and then there are the Architects (although ex-GF physical Archy/StructEng will curse me forever for using a capital 'A') - we are a secret society... 😉

I had a GF in the mid-90's who was Lic'd as both a physical Architect and a StructEng (US & UK Royal Soc's, she was Canadian) who used to go absolutely bananas when I described my focus at the time as SW/Net-Architect - many arguments til I agreed to use lower-case 'a' for it -😉
