Excited to dive back into creating after a hiatus! Here's my student animation reel from Vancouver Film School Benevolence. (class 3D56, I think? 😅). Poured 2 months into this ~2-min piece: crafting the story, storyboards, models, rigging, and hand-animating every detail—like those swinging robot puppy ears and the highlight where my robot inverts a trash can with his foot (alumni suggested cutting it due to complexity, but I stuck to my vision, and it became a fave!). This reel is dedicated to my Dad, who passed from brain cancer in 2004. That year at VFS was raw—mixing profound healing, fierce dedication, and soul-baring expression amid deep pain.
