The S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences (SNBNCBS), Kolkata was proud to participate in the landmark Supercomputing India (SCI) 2025 conference in Bengaluru, where a team of SNBNCBS scientists showcased the Centre’s advances in cutting-edge computational research. Our pavilion became a vibrant hub of interaction, attracting students, young researchers, and professionals from across the country.
📷 SNBNCBS is honored to contribute to the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) by hosting the PARAM Rudra Boson supercomputing facility. At SCI 2025, our booth highlighted how this state-of-the-art facility is being leveraged for high-impact computational research using high-performance computing (HPC) together with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)–based approaches.
Our scientists demonstrated breakthroughs enabled by large-scale simulations and advanced algorithms across diverse domains, including computational physics, chemistry, and biology, with applications spanning cancer research, quantum materials, and biophysics. These efforts reflect how mission-mode national infrastructure is empowering fundamental and interdisciplinary science.
📷 Igniting India’s computational future, SCI 2025 brought together the nation’s brightest minds to build a transformative ecosystem for
#HPC,
#AI, and
#QuantumComputing. The enthusiasm, curiosity, and scientific temperament of visitors—especially school students—made the event truly inspiring.
📷 Witnessing this passion for knowledge reaffirms that the future of Indian science and technology is in excellent hands.
