When you read the switchbrew.org/wiki/Fuses
you can see that the 18.0.0 has the same fuse count as 17.0.1, which is 19.
so, if you accidentally updated your console to 18.0.0, you can still downgrade it to 17.0.x using the emmchaccgen systemrestore

Well my windows just took a massive shit and my PC won't event boot or systemrestore.
I'm gonna try to recover it from USB as a final step. Gonna lose everything, all my assets, stream stuff, etc
Everything is breaking on me right now which is super unfortunate. RIP.

I'm seeing the sched task "\Microsoft\Windows\SystemRestore\SR" - which seems to call "%windir%\system32\srtasks.exe ExecuteScheduledSPPCreation" on a clean system, as the cause of the alert in our case. We are checking to confirm the task is unmodified on the impacted machine.

This allows unauthorized access to SAM, SYSTEM and SECURITY hive files.
Check if System Protection is enabled with REG Query:

FYI, the Nintendo Switch fw 12.0.0 doesn't burn the fuse, so you can downgrade the console to 11.0.0 (max) to run it natively.
If you don't have a backup nand, you can always generate a fresh nand with emmchaccgen and downgrade using the tegraexplorer systemrestore script.
