Dukung Ketahanan Energi, Indonesia Minta Jepang Percepat Pengembangan Blok Masela Tokyo - Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia menyatakan pemerintah mendorong percepatan pengembangan Lapangan Gas Abadi di Blok Masela, Maluku. Hal tersebut disampaikan Bahlil usai mendampingi Presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam pertemuan dengan para pengusaha Jepang pada Indonesia–Japan Business Forum di Tokyo, Senin (30/3). Blok Masela merupakan Proyek Strategi Nasional (PSN) yang dikelola oleh perusahaan energi asal Jepang, Inpex Masela Ltd, dan ditargetkan mulai berproduksi (onstream) pada 2029. Pemerintah telah menyepakati skema pengembangan proyek ini dengan nilai investasi mencapai USD 20,9 miliar. Menurut Bahlil, Presiden Prabowo dalam pertemuan tersebut mengarahkan agar kedua negara mempercepat realisasi proyek yang telah lama tertunda. “Atas arahan Bapak Presiden Prabowo, saya ditugaskan untuk melakukan dua hal kunjungan di Jepang. Pertama adalah memastikan percepatan tentang investasi di transisi energi, yang kedua adalah menyangkut impact Blok Masela,” ujar Bahlil. Menurutnya, percepatan realisasi proyek Masela perlu dilakukan karena selama ini tertunda akibat tahap pembahasan yang alot, termasuk pembahasan mengenai skema fasilitas gas alam cair (LNG) di blok tersebut apakah akan dilakukan secara terapung (offshore) atau di darat. Namun, setelah dilakukan pertemuan intensif sepanjang 2025, proyek tersebut kini menunjukkan kemajuan signifikan. “Alhamdulillah sudah selesai total project-nya USD 20,9 miliar karena dia tambah CCS (teknologi penangkapan karbon) USD 1 miliar di POD-nya (rencana pengembangan lapangannya),” jelasnya. Bahlil menekankan, pemerintah kini fokus mempercepat realisasi proyek agar dapat segera masuk tahap konstruksi. Langkah ini dinilai penting untuk memperkuat ketahanan energi nasional, khususnya di sektor minyak dan gas. Lapangan Gas Abadi di Blok Masela merupakan salah satu proyek gas laut dalam terbesar di Indonesia, dengan estimasi cadangan mencapai 18,54 triliun standar kaki kubik (TSCF). Jika beroperasi, produksi gasnya diproyeksikan mencapai sekitar 1.200 MMSCFD dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan gas domestik. “Kenapa ini harus dipercepat, karena ini penghasil migas salah satu yang besar, 1.200 MMSCFD. Kalau ini mampu kita lakukan maka ketahanan energi kita di sektor migas itu akan semakin kuat," terang Bahlil. Lebih lanjut, Bahlil proyek ini berjalan sesuai rencana, Indonesia bisa menjadi pemain gas terbesar di dunia. Hal yang harus diupayakan di tengah kondisi geopolitik yang tak menentu. Oleh sebab itu, selain penguatan sektor migas, pemerintah juga terus mendorong pemanfaatan energi non-fosil sebagai bagian dari strategi transisi energi nasional. "Karena geopolitik ini kita gak pernah tahu kapan selesai. ADNOC has approved a $150 billion investment plan for 2026–2030, one of the biggest in its history. It has also signed $21.8 billion in agreements to manufacture more products locally. On the chemicals side, the TA’ZIZ industrial zone is moving ahead, targeting 4.7 million tonnes of chemicals each year and raising ADNOC’s total chemicals production to 11 million tonnes by 2028. ADNOC also aims to become one of the world’s most AI-driven energy companies, using automation, robotics and data analytics to improve operations.
