Most social apps are owned by companies.
TAGGR is different.
A decentralized social network and publishing platform built on ICP, powered by canisters, and governed by its community.
One of the coolest parts?
TAGGR lets users create personal media storage canisters for their photos.
And new storage canisters are blackholed by default β meaning no one, including TAGGR, can control them.
Running since the early days of ICP, TAGGR is still one of the clearest examples of what fully on-chain social can look like.

π¨ Attention past and present TAGGR users! π¨
If you have ever posted photos on TAGGR, this is a crucial heads-up to ensure you donβt lose your data.
The Situation: TAGGR has shifted to a sustainable, personal storage model on the Internet Computer. The old, shared storage canister has roughly 3 months of runway left if it isn't topped up.
Who this affects: Everyone- including deactivated accounts. Because your media was never encrypted (to keep deactivation affordable), your photos are still accessible for migration.
What you need to do: Head over to your storage settings on TAGGR, create your personal storage canister, and migrate your photos.
Don't let your history on the IC disappear. Reach out to any old friends or users you know who might be inactive so they can secure their data in time! β³

Right now I'm mostly focused on building out The Swop.
I still post to OpenChat & Crumbeatr each which typically.
When I make content, usually post to Taggr, Distrikt, and DSCVR (Was down for social for a while)
I'm not even sure people in $ICP ecosystem know about the @clownitx dapp... or Taggr, Crumbeatr, Distrikt.
Most of the answers are "I built mine".
Nice to hear #CaffeineAI is being used, that means people at least use one dapp, but I was thinking about dapps that already exist on ICP.
Dear $ICP community,
I hear many of you praising @dfinity and the technology theyβve built with ICP, but tell me:
How many ICP dapps do you actually use on a daily basis ? be honest
