WTF TRUMP.... ICE Wants To Deport Afghan Journalist Seeks Asylum; Veterans Fight Deportation AMERICAN HEROES: U.S. veterans rally against Afghan deportations, citing moral obligation and danger,;as an Afghan journalist fleeing Taliban torture seeks asylum. CALIFORNIA: An Afghan journalist, who says he was tortured by the Taliban for promoting American values, is seeking political asylum in California amid deportation concerns. His case has drawn support from U.S. military veterans who have formed a group called “Battle Buddies” to advocate for Afghan refugees facing deportation. Following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021 and the subsequent Taliban takeover, approximately 200,000 Afghans relocated to the United States. Many Afghans who had worked with the U.S. military and NGOs were included in this relocation. However, the termination of programs that once protected them from deportation has led to widespread fear within the Afghan community. Veterans argue they have a moral obligation to protect these allies, some of whom are now being detained. One such case involves an Afghan translator who says he worked for the U.S. military and has been detained while seeking asylum. The Department of Homeland Security claims there are no records indicating he assisted the U.S. government. The Battle Buddies group, comprised of over 900 veteran volunteers, aims to support Afghans during their court hearings and deter immigration officials from detaining them. Advocates are urging the current administration to restore temporary protected status for Afghans, citing potential dangers to women and children under Taliban rule. While deportations to Afghanistan are reportedly rare, some Afghans have been deported to third countries.

I don’t believe this email nonsense. Like some Civil Servant had talibanretribution@gmail.com stored in their contacts and selected this instead of another address. Implausible.
