May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, but TeachAAPI aims to elevate the cultural contributions of Asian, Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian people year-round in ways kids of all ages can understand. TeachAAPI is in 10 states. Most of its schools are in Southern California. Its largest single district is the Clark County School District, where it’s in 24 schools including Ortwein Elementary.
