I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the @ForbesCoaches Council. This is a meaningful milestone in my journey as a leadership consultant and something I don’t take lightly. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute alongside a global community of coaches and advisors who are focused on helping leaders and organizations grow in ways that truly matter. At Lead Empowered LLC, the work has always been about one thing: helping small and mid-sized businesses build high-performing, burnout-free cultures through empowered leaders and aligned teams. In my latest article, I explore why so many communication breakdowns happen when leaders try to use email for conflict, feedback, alignment, or emotionally charged conversations. Email moves information well, but it does not carry tone, nuance, or real-time clarification the way leadership often requires. A few important reminders: • Email works best for updates, logistics, documentation, and confirmations • Conflict and feedback usually require human presence and immediate clarification • Long email chains often create more misunderstanding, not more alignment • Channel confusion can quietly erode trust, speed, and leadership credibility • Strong organizations define which communication channels are meant for which purposes The goal is not to communicate more.
