Bukit Jalil, 19 Mei – Institut Sukan Negara (ISN) menyifatkan kejayaan penganjuran Anugerah Sukan Negara 2025 sebagai manifestasi penghargaan tertinggi negara terhadap dedikasi dan kecemerlangan atlet, jurulatih serta penggiat sukan yang terus mengharumkan nama Malaysia di persada antarabangsa. Majlis penuh berprestij itu menyaksikan pasangan beregu campuran badminton negara, Chen Tang Jie dan Toh Ee Wei masing-masing dinobatkan sebagai Olahragawan dan Olahragawati Kebangsaan 2025 selepas mempamerkan prestasi cemerlang sepanjang tahun lalu. Turut mencuri tumpuan ialah kejayaan atlet para berbasikal negara, Mohammad Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin yang dinobatkan sebagai Olahragawan Paralimpik Kebangsaan, manakala atlet para renang negara, Lim Carmen menerima pengiktirafan sebagai Olahragawati Paralimpik Kebangsaan. Penyampaian anugerah telah disempurnakan oleh YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, bersama YB Mohammed Taufiq Johari dan YB Mordi Bimol. Turut hadir memeriahkan majlis ialah Dato' Sri Dr. Zulkarnain Ismail dan Dr. Vellapandian Ponnusamy sebagai tanda sokongan berterusan ISN terhadap pembangunan prestasi tinggi negara. ISN turut menzahirkan penghargaan kepada semua atlet, jurulatih, saintis sukan, pegawai perubatan sukan dan barisan sokongan yang memainkan peranan penting dalam memastikan atlet negara mampu bersaing secara konsisten di peringkat antarabangsa. Menurut ISN, pengiktirafan seperti ASN bukan sahaja menjadi simbol kejayaan, malah menjadi pemangkin motivasi kepada generasi atlet muda untuk terus mengejar kecemerlangan demi negara.
