Road & Track reports that the highly anticipated 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is generating a wave of excitement with its jaw-dropping performance and pricing. The car boasts an impressive 1,064 horsepower, a top speed of 233 mph, and sub-10-second quarter mile times, setting a new benchmark for supercars. Now, the starting price has been revealed: $174,995 including destination, a figure that stands in stark contrast to other supercars like the Porsche 911 GT3 (starting at $224,495), the McLaren Artura ($254,100), and the Ferrari 296 GTB ($346,950).
While $175k may seem steep for a car, it's worth noting that this price point remains remarkably competitive within the supercar market. Notably, the ZR1 offers several package options without significantly increasing the overall cost. The 1LZ is the standard trim, and the only other option is the higher-end 3LZ package, which adds luxury features like Napa leather seats with heated and ventilated functionality, a premium audio system, additional leather accents, and advanced safety technologies.
To enhance performance, customers can choose from optional packages. The Carbon Fiber Aero Package enhances aerodynamics for track use, while the ZTK Performance Package improves handling characteristics with stiffer springs, an optimized Magnetic Ride Control system, and specially designed Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. As customers configure their ZR1s to prioritize both luxury and performance, the final price can reach as high as $195,990, maintaining a competitive position within the supercar segment. Production is anticipated to commence in the second quarter of 2024.
