Had a great time talking about podcasts in the classroom with @mrbillywatts this morning at #ISTELive23! Talking to educators about teacher/admin buy-in, student buy-in, necessary equipment, and why we think it works. #techforedsake
So much fun having a class come to the studio to talk about all the #digcit things! Kids are such willing participants when given a topic and an opportunity to participate. Also, the use of @padlet makes facilitating a conversation sooooo easy. #InceptionPadlet#techforedsake
The opportunity to create a space like this at @GainesvilleHS for students, having teachers like @hampsonapush willing to let you into their classroom, and quality gear from @rodemics creates an environment that students are excited to get into. #ifyoubuildit#techforedsake
Technology is not one size for every classroom
#edtech should remove obstacles & open opportunities
@colganhs bio class dissecting sheep brains today
Zoom bio labs with @AVerMedia webcams attached to desktop arms
Students create interactive books using @bookcreator#Techforedsake

So many teachers are working their way through/around/over so many obstacles they had never imagined. Watching them be willing to try something new or teach their class in a different way than they ever thought possible is absolutely inspiring. #TechForEdSake more than ever!
I got to have more than one conversation with a teacher today about how we have the opportunity to rethink student engagement, presentation of material, and assessment of curriculum objectives. Super nerdy? Yes! Super exciting? Also yes! #OpportunitiesNotObstacles#TechForEdSake
This is one of the most common questions from @PWCSNews teachers. I imagine students and parents will have the same. The more we know now, the better we’ll be in the fall. #BigRocks#TechForEdSake#BeProactive This site will also be a big help: pwcsbackpack.com/
Friends, this is definitely worth a look! @khanacademy has built courses to help students get ready for math next year. This could prove to be an invaluable tool for students, teachers, & parents who are looking for support!khanacademy.org/math/get-rea…#TeachWithKhan#TechForEdSake
Reflecting a little this morning on last week's #CanvasBootCamp put on by @itcs4all. Really proud of the work that was done to help some @PWCSNews secondary teachers. Hopefully, we can put out more content like this later in the summer leading into fall 2020. #TechForEdSake
Posted a couple new topics to flipgridfun.techforedsake.co…... still patiently waiting for some of my big kid friends to get into the game. Introduce yourself! Reply to small people! Pick a topic and reply! You know you wanna! #TechForEdSake#FlipgridFunAtHome
Posted 2 new topics. Would be cool if some of my friends from @leadphs, @PHSPlayers, or any @THEPatriotHS students posted a couple videos or replies. The little people posting would get a kick out of seeing some of their favorite big kids. @Flipgrid code is: flipgridfunathome
Ok- little kids, big kids, or older that wanna participate, my 7 y/o has urged me to make the first 3 topics active. So I did. Feel free to watch other's videos and respond. Something really cool about sharing like this. Have fun! @Flipgrid #TechForEdSakeflipgrid.com/flipgridfunatho…
I posted a few responses that have been submitted for intro videos. Please have your kids post, or you can post. Reply to anyone you like. More topics coming later today! #TechForEdSake#FlipgridFun

Just go to flipgridfun.techforedsake.co… and have any kid participating post an intro video just for some practice. I'll put out more topics later this week that they can pick and choose from.
I had 3 more teachers ask me today about podcasting with their classes. YES! By leveraging technology in the classroom we have the unique opportunity to create tomorrow’s authors, producers, content creators, and experts. #TechForEdSake#PodcastsAreTheNewEssays
