“The next few years are going to be quite exciting for tech across our province.” 💻 While speaking at the techNL x Genesis Holiday Reboot, Minister Paddock highlighted the potential for growth in the Newfoundland and Labrador tech sector.

Minister Paddock and officials from the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development were pleased to meet with TechNL leadership this week. Working with tech companies to create jobs across all industries in every corner of the province is a priority for this government.

Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome an international delegation as part of the Joint Commission for Regional Cooperation between the French territorial collectivity of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and the Atlantic Provinces. Hosted in collaboration with @_techNL, the visit brought together representatives from @ACOACanada, federal departments, each of the Atlantic Provinces, and multiple members of the French government. The goal was to showcase the innovative work happening across local companies and spark conversations that could lead to meaningful cross-border collaboration. We also had the opportunity to share Genoa’s story, showcase our team's talent, and explore opportunities for future partnership with our neighbours just across the water. Thank you to techNL for leading the initiative, and to all members of the delegation for spending the afternoon with us.
