The way the public, especially less technical people in Nigeria, and even some AI-trained abi YouTube professionals 🤣have been
#wrongly,
#misinformed about
#Hacking makes it seem as though all of us doing it are
#cybercriminals, or that there is absolutely nothing
#ethical about it at all!
Kó dá, despite being recognized by both the state and federal
#Government of
#Nigeria, alongside several
#international organizations and individuals, including many honorable citizens of this country, as an
#EthicalHacker and a
#CybersecurityExpert, many ignorant people still see me as ọmọ kọ mọ 🤣 although bóyá maybe because of the irùn kìrun tí mo gbé sórí now 🤣
In fact, few days ago, when all I simply did was SHARE, EDUCATE and TEACH with my little
#knowledge and
#understanding about how
#InternetOfThings works, I am currently not even talking about any IoT devices! but more about how
#socialmedia itself works, and discouraging
#misinformation , particularly regarding some comments I made about
@inecnigeria and Mr.
#Verydarkblackman firstly through my facebook account with the profile link
facebook.com/@coyemerald1 , some less technical Nigerians fẹ́ẹ́ le bẹ mí lórí 🤣
Anyway, I once again
#Thank @inecnigeria ! not because I have had any official engagement with them ri or know anyone working there, but at least for PUBLICLY RECOGNISING me through a comment as a “verified cybersecurity researcher.” - INEC NIGERIA 2026
Well, some of you may wonder why this
#comment means so much to me. I swear to (your) God, it truly does matter to me! Kò dá, I have even asked my brother,
#YusufOyetunde, to make it into a frame 🤣 so that anyone who visits our Cybersecurity Study Center at 23 Taiwo Akinsanya, Oshodi/Isolo, Ilamoshe Estate, Lagos, will now see it displayed on the wall
Well, I have never claimed to be a saint!
Because if sin had a scent, perhaps all of us would be found guilty 😩 ẹrù ẹlẹsẹ̀ ní gbogbo wa,
#Astagfirullaha wa qodassa llahu sirrana 🙏
Dear Nigerians,
Good morning again and
#HappyFriday
This is another day to remind you all especially my fellow fresh minds,
#Youths, to acquire a
#DigitalSkill, whether in
#EthicalHacking,
#Cybersecurity, abi any other
#TechSkill you may be passionate about
And to all my dearest people in Lagos, Nigeria, who may be interested in learning cybersecurity and ethical hacking, please know this once again,
#Cybersecurity is a non-coding skill!
That you may not even need to run any terminal commands or scripts before doing many great things either as a cybersecurity professional or as an
#EthicalHacker
I still cannot deny the fact that
#Lagos is filled with crowds of
#amazing people, just as several
#TechCareers are now crowded with many people pursuing them too . But one thing for sure is this, everybody ní yóò rí ti rẹ ṣe,
#ÀmínAṣẹIjn 🙏
And for those who may not be familiar with me, I am
@CoyEmerald1 , the new occupant of
@Sundayvibe00 🤣 I'm a Yorùbá cybersecurity specialist, creative writer, penetration tester, bug bounty hunter, and trainer in ethical hacking and cybersecurity
Like many things created mainly for the Internet alone
#CoyEmerald is simply my preferred online name, while my other name is
#OluwaDamilare
And as I have often said, learning about
#Cybersecurity and
#EthicalHacking is both important and necessary! not only to help you stay safe online nikan, but it will also help you enjoy the use of the Internet better
In addition to the English language, understanding Yorùbá may also be necessary if you truly want to learn from me
#CoyEmerald, anyway, our other
#cybersecurity trainer, @_cyber_bee , understand other languages too 😅
And if anyone still thinks it is
#unprofessional that I have normalized incorporating
#Yorùbá into almost all my operations, the truth is this,
Yorùbá is essential to my
#identity! infact the letter O in O-range cybersecurity means
#OluwaDamilare
Also, as a language, it allows me to truly express myself and makes me gbádùn àrà mi 🤣 especially whenever I am writing for free or for fee...
And to those who may assume that “Yunus Ọmọ Oyetunde tún ti dé with his loudmouth laroyii😅" please understand that both ethical hacking and cybersecurity are not even silent activities!
So, silence is not always golden for cybersecurity professionals 🗣️
Before ending this piece, I once again extend my greetings to H.E Ọgbẹni
@jidesanwoolu , whose tenure as Governor will come to an end soon
Your Excellency, well done sir !
Even though my dear friends and brothers in Lagos, forgot to connect me with you,
Sir,
#BabajideSanwoOlu, I still give you a pass mark for many excellent things you have done here in Lagos
And as always, I hope to continue supporting
@lagosstategov and the Federal Government of Nigeria at large in promoting
#DigitalEducation and contributing to the safety of Nigerian cyberspace through my knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity and ethical hacking
With love and security,
@CoyEmerald1
Cybersecurity Specialist
